Job summary

Rullion is recruiting Quantity Surveyors for major infrastructure and nuclear projects across the UK, based in Reading with hybrid working options. You will manage cost planning, budgeting, and reporting while administering contracts and variations, and work within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold a Quantity Surveying degree with relevant experience in construction, infrastructure or nuclear sectors, and possess excellent

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience in quantity surveying within construction, infrastructure or nuclear projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods and commercial management.
• Experience managing project costs, budgets and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing cost planning, budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Preparing, negotiating and administering contracts, subcontracts and variations.
• Producing accurate cost reports, forecasts and financial analysis.
• Identifying commercial risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Building strong working relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements, industry regulations and company standards.
• Supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and nuclear projects.
