Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a long-term nuclear infrastructure framework in Cumbria. The role focuses on commercial delivery, NEC contract administration and value reporting within an integrated team.

You will lead on cost control, client communications, and mentoring junior QS staff, with an emphasis on high-value subcontracts and robust financial governance.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying and related commercial discipline is required.
• CSCS Card is mandatory to access UK sites.
• Extensive NEC contract experience on major projects or frameworks.
• Experience with defined cost audits and cost-reimbursable contracts.
• Ability to mentor junior QS staff and lead a commercial team.
• Experience with contract management systems like CEMAR or COINS.
• Eligible to obtain BPSS/DBS clearance and pass site checks.
• Working toward professional membership (RICS or CIOB).

Responsibilities

• Lead on commercial delivery, contract administration and reporting.
• Manage cost/value reporting and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate with integrated delivery teams on major projects.
• Oversee risk assessment, change control and cost forecasting.
