Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Whitehaven and Warrington. You will lead cost management and NEC contract governance on major nuclear decommissioning programmes, while mentoring junior staff and advising clients on value for money.

This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working within the UK, with a focus on delivering robust commercial strategies in highly regulated environments.

Qualifications

• The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead commercial delivery on nuclear decommissioning projects.
• Experience administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts in a senior capacity is essential.
• Strong governance, risk and cost-control capabilities required.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of NEC3/NEC4 contracts in line with programme governance.
• Provide senior commercial leadership across decommissioning projects.
• Oversee variations, cost forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Mentor junior commercial staff and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve KPIs.
