Job summary

HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Limited is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Sellafield IDP project. You will lead all commercial and cost management activities for specific work packages, ensuring alignment with nuclear requirements and contractual obligations.

The role is office based five days per week during probation, with potential to work from home one day per week thereafter. A Bachelor Honours Degree and RICS accreditation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and RICS accreditation required.
• Experience in regulated quality systems within construction.
• Experience delivering commercial judgement in major projects.
• Ability to lead and guide teams on commercial matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial and cost management activities for assigned work packages.
• Identify, assess and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimise value.
• Promote cost discipline and value engineering within the team.
• Present results in clear, accurate formats and reporting.
