Job summary

Rullion is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading organisation delivering major infrastructure and nuclear projects across the UK. Based in Reading, you will work within a highly experienced commercial team to manage project costs and support commercial performance, ensuring delivery across multi-disciplinary design and construction programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Experience in construction/infrastructure or nuclear projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement and commercial management.
• Experience managing project costs, budgets and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with project management software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing cost planning, budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Preparing, negotiating and administering contracts, subcontracts and variations.
• Producing accurate cost reports, forecasts and financial analysis.
• Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.
• Ensuring projects meet contractual requirements and standards.
• Supporting delivery of complex infrastructure and nuclear projects.
