Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, based in Glasgow, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver commercial leadership across major engineering, infrastructure and defence programmes. The role is 37 hours per week with a hybrid working pattern (3 days in the office/ onsite).

You’ll manage contract administration, change events and governance reviews, while building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. UK national security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in engineering, infrastructure or major projects.
• Strong commercial management and risk control capabilities.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership across major programmes to maximise value.
• Support contract administration, change management and governance reviews.
• Manage commercial risk and ensure contractual compliance throughout projects.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead post-contract activities including subcontract administration and final accounts.
