Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver commercial excellence on major engineering, infrastructure and defence programmes. You will lead risk, drive value and manage contracts across complex projects within national security and critical infrastructure.

Based in Glasgow with hybrid working (3 days in the office), you will collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to maximise value, administer contracts and support post-contract activities

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Quantity Surveying role within engineering, construction, infrastructure or major project environments.
• Strong commercial management experience across large contracts and project delivery programmes.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Providing commercial management and guidance across projects and contracts to maximise value and performance.
• Supporting project teams with commercial activities including contract administration, change management, compensation events and governance reviews.
• Managing commercial risk and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecyle.
• Developing strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to align objectives and deliver successful outcomes.
• Leading post-contract commercial management activities, including subcontract administration, payment certification and final account settlements.
