AEPartners UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost control, forecasting and commercial governance across a landmark alliance project in Ipswich, UK. You will administer NEC4 contracts, support procurement, and guide a team of QS professionals to protect project value.

The role focuses on risk management, robust reporting, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve programme and cost objectives while delivering high quality commercial intelligence.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
• Working toward or holding professional membership (RICS, ICES, CIOB).
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost control, forecasting and reporting across work packages.
• Administer NEC4 contracts, manage early warnings and compensation events.
• Support procurement by evaluating subcontractor tenders and agreements.
• Review programme sequencing and align cost with programme objectives.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.
• Provide leadership and development within the commercial team.
