Job summary

Elecnor Group in the UK seeks a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead contract management within the Energy Division. You will analyze contracts from bidding through execution, manage risk, lead negotiations, and ensure terms align with Elecnor’s risk profile.

You will work with technical, production, and client teams, interpret complex NEC contracts, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

• University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Energy, or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in contract management, specifically with NEC contracts.
• Willingness to travel to the UK.
• Hands-on experience in project execution, negotiation, risk assessment/management, and managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Fluent English (C1 level mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual matters directly with technical teams, production teams, and clients.
• Ensure the correct interpretation of complex contracts and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Apply contractual terms, maintain up-to-date documentation, and manage relationships with both clients and suppliers.
• Daily Activities: Contract monitoring, stakeholder meetings, drafting reports, formal correspondence, claims management, risk analysis, and audit support.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with regional branches, Legal, Administration, and Insurance departments.
