Job summary

VINCI Building UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to own commercial delivery from feasibility to completion. The role requires strong NEC contract knowledge and extensive procurement, cost control and reporting experience.

You will work within the Midlands regional team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standards. The successful candidate will contribute to pre-contract management, tender evaluation, cost control, and robust CVR reporting while

Qualifications

• Sub contract & package procurement experience.
• Experience working for a large UK Main Contractor.
• Experience in re-measurement.
• Financial / cost control.
• Appropriate CSCS card.
• Valid driving licence.
• A solid understanding of NEC forms of contract.
• Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of commercial delivery across project elements from feasibility to completion.
• Support Start Up of New Projects and Pre-Contract Management.
• Procure materials and off-site services in line with policies.
• Assist with subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tenders.
• Develop understanding of CVR reporting, forecasts and progress reporting.
• Monitor subcontract costs and manage cost control.
• Support change control and value engineering activities.
