Job summary

VINCI Building UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to own commercial delivery across project elements from feasibility to completion. You will need strong contractual knowledge, ideally NEC, to maintain commercial control of work packages throughout the lifecycle.

As part of the Midlands regional team, you will help procure efficiently, deliver within budget, and meet client expectations. The role covers pre-contract start up, procurement, payments, cost control, and robust reporting, with

Qualifications

Sub contract & package procurement experience.
Experience working for a large UK Main Contractor.
Experience in re-measurement.
Financial / cost control.
Appropriate CSCS card.
Valid driving licence.
Solid understanding of NEC forms of contract.
Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Start Up of New Projects: Manage pre-contract management startup procedures.
Procurement: procure materials and subcontract works per VINCI Building policies.
Applications for Payment and Invoicing: assist in valuations and invoice submissions.
Cost Control: monitor subcontract costs and material wastage; identify inefficiencies.
Accounting and Reporting: contribute to CVR reports and progress reporting.
Risk and Opportunity Management: identify risks and opportunities on projects.
Change Control: record changes and support value engineering.
Programming and Project Controls: understand planning and sequencing requirements.
Main Contract Administration: manage contractual relationships and obligations.
