Novus Property Solutions Ltd is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial performance across the Midlands sub-region, including Stoke-on-Trent, Burton-on-Trent and Birmingham. You will guide a team of QSs, manage CVR, forecasting and cash flow, and ensure project profitability on occupied housing refurbishments.

You will liaise with clients, suppliers and operations to resolve commercial matters, manage risk and drive value across multiple contracts. A DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading refurbishment contracts or social housing projects.
• Strong forecasting, cash flow and commercial reporting skills.
• Proven ability to manage risk and maximise contract profitability.
• Solid negotiation and communication skills with clients, suppliers and teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead the commercial performance of the sub-regional office across multiple concurrent contracts.
• Manage regional forecasting, future projections and commercial reporting.
• Oversee the monthly CVR process for all sub-regional contracts, ensuring accuracy and challenge.
• Monitor budgets, profitability, risk and opportunity; report changes affecting cost or programme.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and maintain robust commercial controls.
• Oversee applications for payment, invoicing, valuations and timely collection of monies.
• Review and authorise subcontractor payments and support commercial negotiations.
• Support estimates, bids, tenders, mobilisation and procurement strategy.
• Collaborate with operational teams and clients to define project requirements and resolve commercial matters.
• Lead, mentor and develop the regional surveying team.
