Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Hatfield. You will lead the commercial management of a major project or portfolio across London and the South East, maximising profitability and controlling risk while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

This senior role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying, extensive main contractor experience, and proven ability to manage JCT, NEC and PPC contracts. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
• Significant senior QS experience in main contracting.
• Experience with JCT, NEC and PPC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of a major project or portfolio.
• Maximise profitability and manage commercial risk.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
• Support the Regional Board in mitigating commercial risks.
• Manage contractual matters, including JCT, NEC and PPC contracts.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Promote high standards of commercial performance and SHEQ compliance.
