Kier Group plc is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the STEP Programme team. You will manage contract administration, cost forecasting, and commercial risk across multiple packages, delivering value for money while supporting project teams and JV governance.

You will work within NEC4 contracts, administer compensation events, manage subcontractors, prepare tender documents, and produce detailed cost forecasts and performance reports, contributing to profitability and cash flow for KNJV.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within major infrastructure, energy, nuclear, defence or complex construction projects.
• Experience managing complex subcontract procurement and commercial package management.
• Strong cost planning, forecasting and reporting capability with negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage risk, change and contractual entitlement in a structured, auditable manner.

Responsabilités

• Support delivery of commercial objectives, profitability targets and cash performance across the programme.
• Administer NEC4 contracts, including compensation events, early warnings and contractual notices.
• Manage subcontractors from procurement through to final account, fostering collaborative relationships.
• Develop and maintain cost forecasts, cost-to-complete assessments and performance reports.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities across assigned packages.
