Job summary

UK Staffing Group Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor for site-based work in Stansted, Essex. You will take commercial responsibility across the full lifecycle, coordinating with project teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors on high-value fit-out projects with significant M&E involvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience on M&E-heavy projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts.
• Excellent cost control and forecasting ability.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership from pre-construction through to completion.
• Manage budgets, costs and forecasts for projects.
• Prepare valuations, applications and payments.
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
• Produce financial reporting and forecasting.
• Prepare, negotiate and agree final accounts.
