The role offers a prominent position within a reputable main contractor and oversees a talented commercial team on a landmark scheme.

You will report to directors, manage variations and cash flow, and ensure timely final accounts while mentoring junior staff and delivering value from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Main contractor background preferred.
• Experience delivering large-scale new-build projects.
• Degree or HNC-level qualification desirable.
• Strong commercial and team management skills.
• Ambitious and motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Commercially deliver the project from start through to completion.
• Report weekly and monthly to directors.
• Mentor members of the commercial team.
• Agree main contract sums and manage variations and claims.
• Manage project cash flow and prepare cost reports.
• Procure materials and subcontractors.
• Attend progress meetings with the client and project managers.
• Manage subcontractor payments and variations.
• Prepare final accounts.
