Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in London with hybrid and site-based responsibilities. You will lead the commercial and contractual management of complex engineering and construction projects, protecting profitability and client relationships across the project lifecycle.

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager, you will provide commercial insight, manage valuations and variations, lead subcontract procurement, and drive improvements across commercial processes while

Qualifications

• Recognised Quantity Surveying qualification (BSc/MSc/HND or equivalent).
• Extensive QS experience, preferably in M&E, building services or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT forms of contract.
• Experience managing subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Excellent commercial acumen with influencing stakeholder decisions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of commercial and contractual management of allocated projects.
• Produce accurate cost reporting, forecasts and financial reviews.
• Prepare and negotiate client valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Lead subcontract procurement, negotiations and account management.
• Manage commercial risk, change control and contract compliance.
• Collaborate with operations and design teams to spot opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Provide commercial guidance to Project Managers and senior stakeholders.
• Build strong client, consultant and supply chain relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement across commercial processes.
