Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial projects team. You will manage cost-related aspects of contracts from initial calculations to final accounts, ensuring profitability and effective cost control.

Work closely with internal teams and the supply chain to manage risk, improve margins and uphold our reputation for quality and accountability within the energy and engineering services sector.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Strong commercial awareness and risk management skills.
• Confident communicator with stakeholder engagement experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage workload across multiple projects.
• Understanding of Health & Safety implications in commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial elements of major projects in line with Dalkia processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies and understand customer requirements.
• Monitor and control subcontractor accounts, including applications, variations, and payments.
• Provide accurate forecasting of final accounts and cash flow.
• Identify and manage commercial risks throughout project lifecycle.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on financial matters.
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate project reports, forecasts, and valuations.
• Monitor all project costs including labour, materials, and subcontractors.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
