Qualifications

• Significant Quantity Surveying experience in construction.
• Experience managing a commercial team.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Taking commercial responsibility for construction projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Managing budgets, forecasts, costs, margins and cash flow.
• Preparing and submitting valuations and applications for payment.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, tender analysis and appointments.
• Managing subcontractor valuations, payments and final accounts.
• Developing junior commercial staff and mentoring QS/ trainee QS.
• Attending commercial, client and project meetings.
• Ensuring robust commercial processes and procedures are followed across projects.
