Premises Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on design and build projects across the UK. The role involves overseeing cost plans, budgets, valuations and subcontract procurement, with a focus on maximizing profitability and ensuring contractual compliance.

You will mentor junior surveyors, manage client payments, and build strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
• Background within design & build, refurbishment, fit-out or commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects.
• Prepare cost plans, budgets and valuations.
• Manage subcontract procurement and negotiate packages.
• Administer subcontract accounts, variations and final accounts.
• Produce accurate cost reporting and forecasts.
• Manage client valuations and applications for payment.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
• Work closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability.
• Provide commercial guidance and mentoring to junior surveyors.
