CML is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial function on a reactive framework across multiple projects. The role involves managing a dedicated Commercial Team, providing advice on commercial and contractual matters, and ensuring timely payment applications and robust change control on NEC4 contracts.

The position requires strong leadership, estimated responsibilities across reports and client liaison, with a focus on training and development within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a contracting environment.
• Experience within Civil Engineering/ Rail sector.
• HND/ HNC Level 4/ Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying; RCIS/CES membership.

Responsabilités

• Manage and provide support to the Commercial Team, including reviewing and drafting correspondence.
• Develop and deliver formal reports for Senior Management and submissions for payments.
• Operate the change process on NEC4 contracts and identify risks and opportunities.
• Settle final accounts with clients and sub-contractors in line with terms.
• Assist with tender formulation and review.
