Job summary

Construction Marine Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead a Commercial Team handling a portfolio on a reactive framework. You will oversee commercial matters, advise project staff, draft key correspondence and produce reports for senior management.

Responsibilities include managing payments, NEC4 change processes, risk/opportunity assessments, and final accounts with clients and sub-contractors. Hybrid working and extensive training are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contracting.
• Experience within the Civil Engineering/Rail sector.
• HND/HNC Level 4/ Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
• RCIS/CES membership.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train and support a Commercial Team on commercial matters.
• Provide advice and information to Project Staff on contractual issues.
• Reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
• Produce formal reports for Senior Management.
• Manage payments and the change process on NEC4 contracts.
• Identify and manage opportunities and risk.
• Settle final accounts with Clients and sub-contractors.
• Assist with tenders and bid reviews.
• Promote safety policy and core values.
