Job summary

Ground Control is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of large-scale landscape construction projects. You will oversee cost control, reporting and contractual administration from start to finish, protecting project profitability.

Working with Project Managers, Commercial Managers and suppliers, you will guide commercial decisions, manage variations and build strong client relationships, while developing your career in a growing, purpose‑driven

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Significant QS experience in construction, infrastructure or landscape environments.
• Strong experience managing project finances, cost control, forecasting and reporting.
• Excellent understanding of contract management, procurement and change control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial and financial management of projects with robust cost control and reporting.
• Prepare valuations, CVRs and cost reports for stakeholders.
• Manage variations, change control and subcontractor payments.
• Support procurement planning and subcontract management.
• Monitor labour costs and maintain accurate commercial records.
