PPM Recruitment has partnered with a leading landscaping and grounds maintenance specialist in Tunbridge Wells to recruit a Quantity Surveyor. The role offers hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 at home) and full commercial ownership of live projects with a strong focus on cost control and profitability.

You will manage contractual and commercial aspects, support pre-construction through to close-out, and work with clients to negotiate final accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role (landscaping or construction sectors preferred).
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Diploma, Degree or Higher Education qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Managing all contractual and commercial aspects across a range of live projects.
• Supporting operations through pre-construction, delivery, and close-out.
• Experience of JCT and NEC Forms of Contract.
• Managing change control, including variations and add/omit schedules.
• Preparing, negotiating, and agreeing final accounts with clients.
• Ensuring timely payment and resolving application queries promptly.
• Monitoring project costs and implementing cost-mitigation strategies.
• Attending pre-order and client meetings as required.
• Working with delivery teams to meet budgets and profit margins.
• Accurately recording and valuing variations for monthly applications for payment.
