Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in construction, utilities, infrastructure or engineering.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing to a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Managing project costs and identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
• Procuring and managing supply chain partners and subcontractors.
• Measuring, recording and valuing work in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Preparing cost reconciliations, forecasts and commercial reports.
• Reviewing project programmes and aligning commercial activities to delivery plans.
• Supporting customer and stakeholder relationships across your area of responsibility.
• Managing subcontractor valuations, payments and final accounts.
• Collating and analysing cost and value information to support decision-making.
• Supporting effective commercial governance and compliance processes.
• Contributing to the development and mentoring of junior commercial team members.
• Continuing your professional development and progressing towards chartership, where applicable.
