McCarthy Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major infrastructure project in North London. The role involves leading commercial activities on a long-term energy infrastructure program and delivering accurate cost control and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have NEC contracts experience, a relevant degree or HND, and a track record in civil or infrastructure sectors. A competitive package includes a salary up to £78,000, car allowance and bonus, along with benefits.

Competenze

• Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or ready to step up.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience in civil engineering, utilities, rail, highways, infrastructure or major construction.
• HND, degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Manage project costs, budgets and overall commercial performance.
• Prepare valuations, applications for payment and monthly commercial reports.
• Produce cost forecasts and monitor project profitability.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts.
• Administer NEC contracts, including compensation events and change management.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and potential cost savings.
• Support project teams with commercial advice and contractual guidance.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with contractual requirements.
