Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its infrastructure team in the UK. You will lead commercial aspects across major projects, delivering cost management from pre- to post-contract stages and mentoring junior staff.

Experience in NEC contracts and highways measurement is preferred. You will work with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to manage budgets, risks and procurement while driving value enhancements and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline.
• Experience as QS/Senior QS in infrastructure or similar construction environment.
• Strong understanding of pre- and post-contract commercial management.
• Experience administering NEC contracts and highway measurement methods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services across infrastructure projects.
• Manage project costs, budgets, commercial risks and contractual obligations.
• Administer NEC contracts and advise on commercial matters.
• Prepare cost estimates, commercial reports and financial assessments.
• Develop procurement strategies and ITT documentation.
• Support tender assessments, procurement processes and contract negotiations.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to client relationships.
