Job summary

Dowds is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in London to lead the commercial management of large-scale infrastructure projects, owning valuations, variations, and final accounts. You will assess risks, mitigate delays, and manage subcontractor accounts from tender to handover.

The role requires experience across construction projects, MEP sectors, and pre-construction through handover, with opportunities for career progression and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full commercial ownership of projects including valuations and final accounts.
• Experience with cost-to-complete reviews and financial control.
• Ability to review terms, assess commercial risk and mitigate delays.
• Experience procuring subcontractors and managing accounts from tender to final accounts.
• Experience preparing and submitting variations and claims, negotiating with clients and suppliers.
• Ability to drive value optimisation and continuous improvement with teams.

Responsibilities
