Job summary

ERSG Ltd in Newport is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor for a six-month freelance contract to support major highways and bridge packages. The role requires site-based work in Newport with regular site visits to Gloucester.

You will lead commercial management, cost control, subcontract management, valuations and change management while working closely with project teams and NEC contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as SQS/MQS or Senior Commercial Manager.
• Strong highways, structures, bridges or heavy civils background.
• Good working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4.
• Ideally experience with NEC Options A & B.
• Strong subcontract and commercial management experience.
• Comfortable working across site and project teams.

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor for a 6-month freelance contract, supporting the delivery of major highways and bridge packages.

The role will be based in Newport, with regular site visits required in Gloucester.

The Role
