Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Southampton is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on a diverse project portfolio, including residential and public sector developments. You will manage cost plans, budgets, forecasts and governance, ensuring profitability and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent.
• Proven quantity surveying and cost management experience.
• Strong NEC and/ or JCT contract knowledge; Employers Agent experience is a plus.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills; ability to deliver complex projects.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial delivery of projects, achieving cost, quality, and programme targets.
• Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, forecasts, and contract administration across Clients.
• Maintain project profitability, financial control, governance, quality standards and KPIs.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing and CDP events.
• Support client account growth and identify new business opportunities; build relationships with clients and project teams.
• Contribute to bids, proposals, and business development opportunities.
