Job summary

Yorkshire Water is expanding its Capital Commercial Services team in Bradford to recruit Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors. You will manage procurement, contract strategy, cost assurance, and commercial controls across a portfolio of schemes within the Capital Programme.

The roles require NEC contract knowledge, supplier negotiations, risk management, and strong stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working with office days in Leeds after relocation and a robust benefits package are

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the administration associated with construction contracts.
• Ability to identify, quantify and control commercial risks.
• Knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts, contract management practices, procedures and systems.
• Ability to work with all stakeholders, provide guidance and support key decision commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Procurement and contract strategy development and implementation.
• Cost assurance pre and post contract.
• Development and implementation of key commercial controls.
• Supporting negotiations with partners.
• Evaluating financial risks.
• Contract administration in line with NEC contracts.
• Process Partner Applications for Payments.
• Change control assurance.
• Supporting successful completion of schemes.
• Providing guidance and support in risk management and cost control.
• Liaising with Stakeholders.
