Job summary

Avove Utilities is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team, focusing on the Yorkshire Water account. This permanent position involves a home and office working split from Brighouse.

Your responsibilities include compliance with systems, financial reporting, project cost management, and administration of contracts. The ideal candidate has a commercial background with a relevant degree or RICS accreditation, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience within the utilities sector is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of Framework Agreements and NEC3 or NEC4 contracts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Avove systems and commercial procedures.
• Assist with financial reporting of subcontract orders.
• Manage project costs and prepare financial statements.
• Administer construction contracts and manage subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and support payment applications.
