Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan are seeking qualified Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors for a major two-year project in Plymouth, with flexible working between Bristol and Plymouth. The role offers hybrid working and a potential salary up to £75,000 plus a comprehensive package.

Ideal candidates have main contracting experience, especially in Tier 1 environments, and can demonstrate delivery of sizeable, technically demanding projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in a main contractor environment.
• Track record delivering sizeable and technically demanding construction projects.
• Strong commercial controls and CVR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of packages from procurement to final account.
• Subcontractor procurement, negotiation and appointment.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and payments.
• Cost forecasting, reporting and CVRs.
• Management of variations and change.
• Identify and manage commercial risk.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams.
• Maintain strong commercial controls throughout delivery.
