Job summary

Borne Resourcing Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Woking on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on commercial management across procurement, CVRs, valuations and final accounts for a diverse project portfolio including commercial, education and retail sectors.

You will join a stable commercial team in a growing Surrey-based main contractor with a turnover around £30m and a willingness to deploy best-practice cost control across milestones.

Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record in main-contractor environments.
• Strong ability to manage procurement, CVRs, valuations and final accounts.
• Experience controlling variations, risk and subcontractor payments.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of projects from procurement through final account.
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages.
• Valuations, applications for payment and subcontractor payments.
• Monthly CVRs, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Managing variations, change control and contractual risk.
• Negotiating and agreeing subcontractor final accounts.
