Job summary

ERSG Ltd. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a freelance role on a major infrastructure project in Bristol. You will lead commercial management for a project or section of works, manage subcontract procurement, valuations, cost control, and project controls.

The ideal candidate has extensive senior QS experience in major infrastructure or construction environments, strong NEC/contract knowledge, and the ability to mentor other commercial team members within a dynamic project team.

Qualifications

• Strong Senior QS / commercial experience.
• Major infrastructure or construction background.
• Strong subcontract and main contract experience.
• Excellent understanding of commercial and contractual processes.
• Experience with NEC / major contract environments.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of a project / section of works
• Subcontract procurement and administration
• Valuations, applications for payment & final accounts
• Cost control, CVRs and forecasting
• Change control, variations, claims & disputes
• Risk & opportunity management
• Commercial reporting and project controls
• Supporting and developing other commercial team members
