Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Sunderland office to lead a varied portfolio across the North East. You will deliver pre- and post-contract services for healthcare, education, local authorities and more, and help grow the business while mentoring junior team members.

Based in Sunderland, you will maintain strong client relationships, manage budgets, and contribute to tendering and contract advice across a range of schemes from refurbishments to major new-build

Qualifications

  • The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent construction qualification.
  • Experience in consultancy or client-side quantity surveying is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement routes and building contracts is required.
  • Experience delivering pre and post-contract services is needed.
  • Excellent commercial, communication and client-facing skills are expected.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are mandatory.
  • MRICS status is preferred, but a non-chartered candidate will be considered.

Job description

An established property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Sunderland office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of projects across the North East while supporting clients, developing junior team members and contributing to business growth.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will deliver a full range of pre and post-contract services across commercial, healthcare, local authority, residential and education projects. Schemes range from refurbishments and extensions through to major new-build developments, public realm improvements and infrastructure works.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Lead projects from inception through to completion

The Person

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:
