Job summary

Colten Care is hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and deliver projects in the East Midlands. The role requires strong commercial acumen, NEC contract knowledge and proven cost-management capabilities.

You will lead measurement, contract administration and commercial reporting, while building relationships with clients and supply chain partners to maximise profit. Home-based with site travel as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying with professional membership (RICS or CICES).
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to forecast costs.
• Experience with NEC contracts and large civils subcontract packages.

Responsibilities

• Measurement, contract administration and commercial reporting.
• Lead cost forecasting, cost-to-complete and budget reviews.
• Review allocation sheets and provide feedback.
• Negotiate with clients and prepare interim applications and cost reports.
• Manage NEC contracts and large subcontract packages.
• Utilise Earned Value Management to analyse data from multiple sources.
