Job summary

Detail2 Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial function on major construction and civil engineering projects across the UK. The role requires ownership from pre-contract through final account, with experience in JCT and NEC contracts and strong client and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will travel across UK project sites, oversee cost control, procurement and reporting, and contribute to financial management and project risk control.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• MRICS preferred or working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the quantity surveying and commercial function from pre-contract through to final account.
• Administer and manage JCT and NEC contracts.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and commercial calculations.
• Provide clear commercial reporting to senior management.
• Identify and manage commercial risks across the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with site teams, clients and subcontractors.
