Job summary

EKFB, a joint venture delivering HS2 civil works, is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Milton Keynes-based Commercial team. You will lead cost control, prepare variation accounts, monitor progress, and issue valuations and final accounts for main and sub-contracts.

You will provide contractual guidance, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and contribute to the project’s commercial success alongside a small team.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
• Enrolled in, or seeking membership of, a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS or similar).
• Successful experience delivering positive commercial outcomes as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate with the Commercial team.
• Must hold a Full Driving License and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and agree variation accounts for main and sub-contracts.
• Monitor cost against targets and programmes with other teams.
• Prepare interim and final valuations, and sub-contract final accounts.
• Provide contractual advice and ensure compliance with contract and legal obligations.
