Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on Heathrow Airport civils projects up to £30m. The role offers a salary of £50k-£57k plus package and will involve commercial and contractual control on multiple concrete structures and build works.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will manage costs, prepare budgets and cost plans, handle tender documentation, and oversee subcontractor appointments while ensuring value, risk management and timely valuations.

Qualifications

• Maths skills, numerically minded.
• Industry experience and knowledge.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• RICS/CIOB accredited.
• COINS financial software experience (or similar).
• Relevant professional Quantity Surveying qualification degree level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial and contractual control of multiple projects.
• Manage costs on building projects and structures.
• Administer agreements on traditional and design-and-build contracts.
• Prepare budgets, cost plans and tender documents.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and procurement strategies.
• Produce cost reports and valuations with timely payments.
• Oversee subcontractor appointments and final accounts.
• Develop knowledge of contract conditions and health and safety implications.
• Coordinate with Estimating and Buying departments and attend meetings.
