Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to contribute to multi‑disciplinary projects for a diverse client base. You will manage costs, risk, and commercial performance from early involvement through to handover, ensuring value for money and NEC contract compliance.

Reporting into the commercial team, you will mentor junior staff, support site travel across the region, and develop your career toward a management role in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC contracts and commercial management.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities for cost control.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring robust cost management processes with accurate reports.
• Working with the delivery team to implement efficiency plans.
• Challenging team members to drive value for clients.
• Ensuring understanding of contractual arrangements and client needs.
• Supporting clients to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Advising on contractual and commercial aspects for project control.
