Mott MacDonald Bentley, Reading, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial activities on Thames Water projects, including water treatment and network upgrades. You will drive procurement, cost reporting and value engineering to deliver projects on time and within budget.
You will lead procurement, maintain NEC contract discipline, mentor junior staff and collaborate with delivery teams across the project lifecycle from early involvement to handover.

MMB has successfully extended its contract with Thames Water for an additional five years. As the largest water and wastewater provider in the UK, Thames Water serves 15 million customers throughout London and the Thames Valley. This extension will carry the current agreement through to the end of AMP8 in March 2030. MMB is delivering work on three frameworks in the region, which sees us undertake a varied programme of water and wastewater non-infrastructure and infrastructure projects to improve the network.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you\'ll work on a diverse portfolio of Thames Water projects that make a real difference to customers, communities and the environment. These include clean water and wastewater treatment schemes, network infrastructure projects such as mains renewals, reservoir safety works, environmental improvement projects and storm overflow reduction programmes.
You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from early contractor involvement, optioneering and tender negotiations through to design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. You will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
