Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Leeds to work on diverse projects across our Environment Agency, ABP, Rolls-Royce and other clients. You will manage cost reporting, contract compliance and financial viability from early involvement through handover.

You will collaborate with delivery teams, drive value, mentor junior staff and have opportunities to develop into management roles in the future.

Qualifications

• NEC contract knowledge is required.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Strong numerical and problem solving abilities to manage project finances.
• Flexibility to travel to sites within the region.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost reporting, data analysis and commercial decisions.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to improve efficiency across the project lifecycle.
• Challenge the team to maximise value for clients.
• Clarify contract arrangements to meet client requirements.
• Support clients to mitigate risks and deliver outcomes.
• Advise on contractual and commercial aspects for robust control.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with clear communication.
• Provide guidance to junior commercial staff.
• Aim for progression into management.
