Job summary

MCR Property Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to drive commercial and financial delivery on assigned projects. You will ensure schemes are procured efficiently and delivered within budgets, providing hands-on commercial expertise from inception through final account.

Reporting into senior directors, you will handle monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and management of contracts. The role is office-based with site visits to meet project teams and review progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor across a range of project types and values.
• Experience within a developer, main contractor or subcontractor environment.
• Ability to operate across pre- and post-contract stages, including cost plans, estimates, BOQ measurement, tendering and procurement.
• Full, clean driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly cost reporting, financial forecasting, contract and subcontract packages, and management of variations.
• Work closely with Project Managers and fellow Quantity Surveyors to support commercial strategy and financial control.
• Role is office-based with regular site visits for meetings, valuations and project reviews depending on location and experience.
