Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out to join our team operating from London or Manchester with national project coverage. The role focuses on commercial management, valuations, and cost control across office, retail and refurbishment fit-out schemes.

The ideal candidate will have Quantity Surveying experience in fit out, plastering, drylining and ceilings, strong IT skills, and excellent communication. A fast-paced environment and a collaborative team are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have Quantity Surveying experience within fit out, plastering, drylining, ceilings etc.
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of industry processes, materials and costs.
• Junior/trainee with commercial experience in fit out or QS graduate considered.

Responsibilities

• Deal with fit out projects across sectors such as commercial, office, residential, retail and refurbishment fit-out.
• Record progress on site and transfer information to payment applications.
• Prepare on-time monthly valuations from site measurements and WIP reviews.
• Monitor monthly application figures and flag budget or financial constraints to relevant departments.
• Review labour schedules and compare to on-site progress.
• Price variations and changes in line with subcontractor parameters.
• Build, manage and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and site staff.
• Work on projects valued from £100k to £10m.
