Qualifications

• Experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role within construction/infrastructure sectors.
• Experience managing all commercial aspects from pre-construction to close-out.
• Strong cost management, forecasting, reporting, procurement and final accounts skills.
• Experience with standard forms of construction contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of construction and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion.
• Take ownership of the commercial management of a major transmission infrastructure project.
• Ensure effective cost management, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting across the project lifecycle.
• Administer and manage contracts and subcontract agreements in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare, negotiate, and agree valuations, variations, change events, and final accounts.
• Monitor project performance and provide commercial guidance to support successful delivery.
• Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Support procurement activities, including tender evaluation and contract negotiations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and best commercial practice.
• Produce accurate commercial reports and forecasts for leadership teams.
• Support dispute avoidance and resolution through contract management.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
