Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the drylining or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of drylining systems, materials and construction processes.
• Experience working with contract documents, cost plans and project specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience managing projects ranging from £150,000 to £15,000,000.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cost aspects of a range of projects.
• Prepare and review detailed cost plans, bills of quantities, and contract documentation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate cost assessments and manage project budgets.
• Provide cost control and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and manage contract performance and ensure projects are completed within budget.
• Assist with value engineering, cost forecasting and risk management.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure timely submission of applications for payments and valuations.
• Advise on contractual disputes and assist with final accounts.
