Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team from the Bristol office. The role focuses on drylining contracts, with site visits as needed and a strong emphasis on cost control and profitability.

The successful candidate will manage procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts, while collaborating with site managers and the wider team to keep projects financially on track. A car allowance and pension are included.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor within commercial drylining.
• Strong cost control and commercial management.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Good understanding of construction contracts and procurement.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility for site visits.

Responsabilités

• Manage the commercial aspects of drylining contracts from procurement through to final account.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and overall profitability.
• Prepare and manage valuations, applications for payment and variations.
• Negotiate and agree subcontractor and supplier costs.

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Bristol, Somerset

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 (dependent on experience) plus car allowance

Bennett & Game are representing a leading specialist drylining contractor who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

The company delivers commercial drylining, plastering, suspended ceilings and associated interior systems across a range of construction projects. With an established presence in the sector and a strong pipeline of work across the South Coast, South West and South Wales, the business offers a varied project portfolio and long-term opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial drylining background to take ownership of project costs, manage commercial performance and work closely with operational teams. The role will be based from the Bristol office, with site visits required as necessary.

Salary & Benefits

Salary of £55,000-£60,000, depending on experience.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

Manage the commercial aspects of drylining contracts from procurement through to final account.
