Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management across a diverse Essex/London portfolio, with projects ranging from GBP500k to GBP10m, including live/occupied sites. You will manage procurement through final account, negotiating subcontracts and supporting value engineering.

Ideal candidates have main contractor experience, strong cost control and contractual knowledge, with RICS qualification or progression. Attractive salary and benefits on offer.

• Extensive senior QS experience on building projects.
• Strong procurement and subcontracting skills.
• Excellent cost control and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees full commercial management of projects from procurement to final account.
• Handles subcontract procurement, tenders and negotiations.
• Manages cost controls, valuations, CVRs and variations.
• Leads applications for payment and final accounts negotiation.
• Identifies commercial risks and opportunities and supports value engineering.
• Mentors Assistant and Junior Quantity Surveyors.
