Our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Building team, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across
Essex, London and the wider region.

retail, healthcare, residential, education, refurbishment and commercial schemes, including works within live and occupied buildings.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven QS to take full ownership of projects from
procurement through to final account, working closely with clients, Project Managers, consultants and subcontractors.
Full commercial management of projects valued
Manage projects from procurement through to final account
Subcontract procurement, tendering and negotiation
Cost control, forecasting, valuations and CVRs
Applications for payment, variations and commercial claims
Final accounts and commercial negotiations
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
Work closely with operational teams and clients
Mentor Assistant and Junior Quantity Surveyors
Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor experience
Main contractor background preferred
Experience managing
Experience across
retail, healthcare, residential, education, commercial or refurbishment
Experience working within
live/occupied buildings advantageous
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
Excellent procurement, negotiation and cost-control skills
RICS qualified or working towards qualification desirable, but not essential
